The Space Needle is the recognized symbol of Seattle. The tower stands 605 feet (184 meters) tall and boasts fabulous views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges and, of course, the beautiful city of Seattle. There are three restaurants located in the Space Needle--the Space Needle Restaurant and the Emerald Suite on the 500 foot level and the Skyline banquet at the 100 foot level. The rotating restaurants (at the 500 foot level) make one revolution every 58 mintues. |

| The multi-level market consists primarily of fish and produce stalls, but also features over 200 unique non-food shops selling value-added goods, including art galleries and local crafts. The concessions and displays are often creative and as a whole, the market is attractive and well-maintained. A large sign and clock on the roof provide a distinguishing feature; an information booth offers maps and pamphlets. | ![]() |
